We can fabricate polyethylene foam in standard white or pink anti-static into end caps, and foam fittings. These fabricated polyethylene foams are often used to protect valuable electronic components from side, and end transit shocks. The polyethylene acts as a cushioning whilst encapsulating your product in the cardboard box. Often a heavy duty corrugated cardboard box is used as the outer packaging.

For static protection of sensitive electronic equipment we can use the pink anti static polyethylene foam, the anti-static polyethylene foam can be routed to form shapes and groves so as to hold in place electronic parts and circuit boards, we can also supply shielding bags to further protect your printed circuit boards. We can fabricate polyethylene foams in a corrugated cardboard box and incorporate foam fittings by gluing them in place so you can just pack your electronic product inside the cardboard box. Other foams such as chip foam can be used inside the corrugated cardboard box this packaging foam is much cheaper than polyethylene foams, but can not be shaped or used as end caps. The packaging chip foam is often used as holding blocks or in conjunction with timber packaging pieces.

Another foam we use inside cardboard corrugated boxes or cartons is called profile packaging foam. This packaging foam has what is called peaks and lows sculptured in it, and it is mostly used in die cut corrugated cardboard boxes for holding small electronic components inside. These boxes can be made normal white or brown finish, but also made in black conductive corrugated cardboard. Often electronic customers us a shielding bag together with the box. The profile foam can be supplied as pink anti-static foam, the size of the peaks and lows of the packaging foam depends on the thickness and weight of your product you need to be packed.A lot of electronic mail order companies use this type of packaging to send out electronic sensitive products, so this makes it a ideal packaging mail order box.

Instant foam or foam in place is a product which forms a mould with very low tooling charges. Basically 2 chemicals are mixed together and squirted into a cardboard or timber mould to form what is known as a pre mould. These moulds offer excellent cushioning packaging protection for small volume packaging applications, with-out the on cost of tooling which for polystyrene can costs thousands of pounds, for the packaging foam in place the tool cost is usually around the £150.00 mark, most common packaging application for this type of packaging mould is electronic equipment, computer monitors, glass objects, prototypes, catering equipment, tooling, etc. The instapack foam can be supplied in pink anti-static as well as the normal white or blue polythene which 2 layers holds the foam together around the pre mould whilst being formed for the packaging mould.

Polystyrene packaging pieces supplied in polystyrene sheets or polystyrene blocks are a very cost effective method of protective packaging. Polystyrene is used as a packaging filler or to hold such items as dash boards for automotive vehicles, or to stop glass panels from coming in contact with each other. Polystyrene is also used as a mould to give protection to televisions, washing machines. The polystyrene is made as end caps or top and base caps. These polystyrene moulds are made from aluminium moulds which can cost thousands of pounds to make, but for volume users of this type of polystyrene packaging, this cost is out weighed by the very low unit prices of the polystyrene protective packaging mould.

Polystyrene chips are widely used as a void filler inside a corrugated cardboard box or carton. The polystyrene chips or beads fill up any voids inside the corrugated cardboard box, and your product to be packaged and protected sits inside usually in the middle of the box. The polystyrene chips are ideal for irregular sizes of product which can be difficult to find a bespoke packaging solution for.

Bubble wrap is another widely used protective packaging product. Bubble wrap can be supplied in 3 sizes of bubble wrap. Small bubble wrap used a lot in the food industry, for example the packaging of fruits such as strawberries, medium bubble wrap the most widely used bubble wrap, and large bubble wrap mostly used for very large and heavy goods which need to be bubble wrapped to give good cushioning. The bubble wrap can be supplied in many widths the maximum width bubble wrap is made in is 1500mm, and the usual minimum width of bubble wrap is 150mm, you can then usually choose any width of bubble wrap you want as long as it is a multiple of 150mm, for instance 300mm,450mm,600mm,750 mm, width bubble wrap etc. The usual length for small and medium bubble wrap is 100metres length of bubble wrap, although you can also get 50 and 75 metre lengths of bubble wrap, it is always best to ask the length of bubble wrap when comparing prices. The large bubble wrap is usually supplied in 75 metre or 50 metres length bubble rolls because of the increased size of the actual bubble. Bubble wrap can also be supplied in pink anti static for the protection of sensitive electronic components. Bubble wrap bags and envelopes can be purchased in all standard envelope sizes. Often a very small component is paced in a bubble bag and then in turn this bag is placed in a corrugated cardboard mailer for further packaging transit protection

Cell air foam is foam supplied on the roll. This packaging foam is manufactured from polyethylene and is supplied in various thickness for example 0.5 mm, 1.00mm, 1.25 mm ect. This foam on a roll has a small profile in it, and is very suited to the automotive industry, and the packaging protection of outer surface finishes such as screens, table tops. This foam roll can be supplied as anti-static, and can manufactured in all the same sizes as the bubble wrap as detailed above.
