How to measure boxes
Length (L) x Width (W) x Height (H)
Measuring boxes is simple. Box measurements always correspond to the internal dimensions of the box in millimetres (mm) as follows:-
Length (L) – the longer dimension at the opening
Width (W) – the shorter dimension at the opening
Height (H) – the dimension from the top of the opening to the base
Width (W) – the shorter dimension at the opening
Height (H) – the dimension from the top of the opening to the base
Dimensions should be measured under standard climate conditions, on the flat blank from the centre of crease bearing the thickness of the material in mind.
